DCA Mini Sabre Vanes
Description
Engineered through two years of testing and refinement, the Mini Sabre Vanes redefine vane performance and precision. Each vane is individually molded using an advanced 8-cavity system to ensure exact uniformity, delivering a consistent 6.0 ± 0.1 grain weight across every set. That means tighter tolerances, better flight control, and unmatched accuracy shot after shot. Built from the same ultra-tough material used on golf balls, the Mini Sabre is designed to flex, take impact, and return to shape without fail, even after pass-throughs on targets. Pair them with the Sabre Primer Pen and Bob Smith Maxi-Cure adhesive for an almost permanent bond that stands up to any condition. Scientifically developed using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), NASA stability modeling, a custom wind tunnel, and LabRadar (Doppler radar) testing, the Mini Sabre delivers superior aerodynamics and flight stability. The result is a vane that’s tough, precise, and built to dominate in any hunting or target scenario.
Specs
| Weight | 6.0 +/- 0.1 grains |
| Height | .465" |
| Length | 2" |
Application
- Clean the shaft by wiping the arrow shaft or wrap with a clean, dry paper towel. Avoid using acetone.
- Place the Sabre vane in your fletching jig clamp. A 2.5° helical (left or right) is a great starting point but not required
- Use the Sabre Primer Pen to prepare the vane base for a strong, long-lasting bond
-
Add a thin, continuous bead of Maxi-Cure glue along the vane base. Do not spread it out
- Press the vane firmly onto the shaft and hold for about 10 seconds (or per adhesive instructions)
- Release the clamp and wipe away any extra glue from around the vane base
- Allow the adhesive to fully cure for 10–15 minutes before handling or shooting
